| Facts Found THAI NAVY 1 claimed that she finished 3 seconds ahead of THAI NAVY 2 but the provisional result had shown that THAI NAVY 2 had a recorded elapsed time of 1:27:00 and THAI NAVY 1 had a recorded elapsed time of 1:27:16. The Race Committee advised the Jury that they were aware that the two boats had finished very close to each other and that the score sheet was in doubt as there was a question mark next to THAI NAVY 1’s elapsed time. The Race Committee further added that they were preoccupied at that time with race management issues. |

| Conclusion The Race Committee had made an error in recording the elapsed time of THAI NAVY 1 and there was doubt as to which of the two boats, THAI NAVY 1 or THAI NAVY 2 crossed the line first. |
